• Preparation and submission of planning applications and lawful development certificates, monitoring key consultation responses and supporting applications at committee;
• Initial heritage advice and preparing conservation area and listed building applications;
• Advising on permitted development rights and preparing prior approval applications;
• Preparing, submitting and overseeing planning appeals, including attendance at informal hearings and giving evidence at public inquiries;
• Discharging and varying planning conditions;
• Promoting sites in emerging local or neighbourhood plans, including call for sites submissions, formal representations at Reg 18 and Reg 19 stage and attendance at examination in public;
• Preparation and co-ordination of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs); and
• Project management during the planning process, including recommending, co-ordinating and overseeing specialist external consultants, architects and solicitors (where necessary).
